A Common Sense Approach to Firearms Safety and Pepper Spray Training

Our instructors are certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and Massachusetts State Police.

We proudly teach the basic knowledge and skills, and explain the attitude necessary, for safe gun handling, transporting and storage of firearms.

Christine Alfano, Managing Director

Christine Alfano, holds a Master of Science in Administration from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Framingham State College. She has over twenty (20) years’ experience in Senior Management and Training positions in the high tech corporate business world. She also has nine (9) years’ experience in the public safety and healthcare industries. Christine is a certified National Rifle Association (NRA) Firearms Safety Instructor, (NRA) Pistol Instructor, (NRA) Range Safety Officer and is certified by the Massachusetts State Police as a Basic Firearms Safety Instructor and regularly attends professional continuing training on Massachusetts Firearms Law. Point of Aim is recognized by the National Rifle Association as a certified NRA Business Alliance Member.

Chief Vincent C. Alfano (Ret.)
Director, Training and Law Enforcement Solutions

Chief Alfano holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont. His private sector experience includes; ten (10) years in corporate security management for a Fortune 250 high tech computer firm. Chief Alfano’s law enforcement career includes; nineteen (19) years with the Framingham Police Department leaving as a Lieutenant, commanding the Bureau of Administrative Services and Training. He served as Executive Officer of the department’s Special Operations Unit, and Commander of the Firearms Training Unit.

In 2006, he was appointed Chief of Police for the Town of Bolton, Massachusetts where he served as Chief until his retirement in 2015. He has served on many State committees regarding firearms law and training, including Chairman of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association Firearms Committee. Chief Alfano has received numerous Firearms and Pepper Spray Training Instructor certifications from both Industry, State and Federal law enforcement organizations, as well as the National Rifle Association. Having served as a Chief of Police he is very familiar with firearms law and the Massachusetts firearms licensing process.
